An easy cut and come leaf to grow; orache is easily grown in containers or the ground. In containers make sure it is well fed, well drained and watered regularly. It is better grown in light shade, especially as the weather warms up - being an annual it will want to flower as the daylight hours grow longer and even when flowering there is usually plenty of leaves still on the plant to use and if left will self-seed with the new seedlings emerging the following spring.
