Orders are easy to make online – after checkout you will receive a confirmation email for your purchase.
Orders can also be made by telephone – if you do connect to the answering machine, please leave a clear message along with your phone number and we will reply promptly. Confirmation for these orders will be by phone or email.
All major credit/debit cards and PayPal are accepted. We are also happy to accept cheques.
Delivery and packaging
Our herbs are packaged securely in recycled and recyclable blister packs and then into cardboard boxes, to ensure your plants to arrive in the best possible condition.
We do not ship herbs on a Friday unless you require a special Saturday delivery – please contact us for a price.
The majority of our orders are sent via a 24 hour courier service. Very small orders are dispatched with Royal Mail.
For residential addresses order are sent with ‘signature optional’ which means they can be left safe and we welcome any delivery instructions with your order.
Orders to businesses and schools are sent with a ‘signature required’ service.

Herbs are usually despatched within two to four days of placing your order, but we ask that you allow up to ten days for delivery to cover us for busier periods and times when we may be exhibiting at shows.
All our herbs are grown on the nursery and are despatched labelled with their plant name and basic growing instructions
Our aim is to provide our customers with top quality herbs and service. We have worked hard to find a robust packing and delivery system that ensures your plants arrive at your door in the best condition.
We would ask that you check your herbs carefully when they arrive and report any problems to us either by phone or email within forty eight hours so that we can rectify it. We may ask that you send us a photo.
We cannot accept responsibility for plants that have not been cared for or had unsuitable care.
Once an order has been placed you have the right to cancel your order up to the day of despatch. As herbs are a perishable item we cannot accept returns in exchange for a refund.
We recommend you unpack your herbs immediately upon arrival and give them a light watering. Some herbs may have been trimmed back – this is completely normal and will allow the plant to bush out.
The herbs can be grown in the pots they arrive in, but they would benefit long term from being potted on into slightly bigger pots or if suitable, being planted out into the garden.
The height information given for the herbs is the typical height to expect once the herb is planted and established in the ground.
