Despite being a tender herb that can’t be grown outside in the UK during winter, lemongrass (Cymbopogon) has remained one of the most popular herbs amongst British culinary enthusiasts. From stir fry’s to salads, spice rubs and curry pastes, lemongrass has earned itself quite the reputation for providing a fantastic finishing touch. A central element of tom yum soup and Thai carrot soup, there are many established recipes to follow when chefs aren’t overtaken by the creative impulse. Sauces can also be tastefully infused with lemongrass. White wine sauce, for example, will always benefit from a little extra zing when complemented by the herb. It’s also worth noting that its antioxidant properties and assortment of vitamins make it a particularly healthy ingredient to cook with.

When it comes to tea, dried lemongrass can be steeped or boiled to create a soothing and sweet drink perfect for any time of day. Similarly, lemongrass can be combined with ginger, mint and gin to create the famous Soho cocktail. We deliver our herb plants to addresses across the UK. Orders are dispatched between Mondays and Thursdays. This is usually within two to four days of placing your order, but at some points of the year during busy peaks it may take a little longer.
Very small orders of up to 3 herbs are dispatched with Royal Mail but the majority of our orders are sent via a 24 hour courier service. Orders sent by courier to Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight and Scilly Isles take 48-72hrs - this will be indicated at the checkout.

All the herbs are supplied in 9x9 cm pots (8cm depth). Our herbs are packaged securely in recycled and recyclable blister packs and then into cardboard boxes, to ensure your plants to arrive in the best possible condition.

All our herbs are grown on the nursery and are dispatched labelled with their plant name and basic growing instructions

We would ask that you check your herbs carefully when they arrive and report any problems to us either by phone or email within 48 hours so that we can rectify it. We may ask that you send us a photo.
We cannot accept responsibility for plants that have not been cared for or had unsuitable care.
Once an order has been placed you have the right to cancel your order up to the day of dispatch. As herbs are a perishable item we cannot accept returns in exchange for a refund.
